In my life there have been many profound musical influences. If I listed them all here, it would take too many pages to be readable. Suffice it to say that I'm a varied and eclectic musician and listener.

One key influence has been the presence of Pink Floyd (named by Syd and the gang by combining the names of American bluesmen "Pink Anderson" and "Floyd Council") in my life. I enjoy music from both the early incarnation of Pink Floyd (with Syd, but not David), and the later incarnation (without Syd, but with David).

I did not personally know Syd, and only have known him through his music. Still, I felt as though he is a part of my life. I will miss him.
